Dr. Thomas S. Dietrich, an Alliance native, has been in private practice since 1980. He graduated cum laude from Westminster College with a bachelor of science degree in biology in 1974. In 1978, Dr. Dietrich graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he was elected to the national dental honorary Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He completed two full years of specialty training as a resident at the University of Rochester, Eastman Dental Center, which is recognized internationally for its training in cleft lip and palate treatment, as well as general orthodontic training.

In addition to his specialty training, he has completed rigorous additional study and examinations to become board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Dietrich has been a consultant to the Craniofacial Center of Akron Children’s Hospital for 22 years and is also a clinical instructor in orthodontics at the University of Rochester.
